SII, online VAT

The Immediate Supply of Information or SII is an online mechanism promoted by the Tax Agency (AEAT) to improve and facilitate VAT control.
As of July 1, 2017, companies will be required to send information on invoices issued and received “almost” immediately, within a maximum period of 4 days (during the second half of 2017, the deadline will be 8 days).
To submit all the information, companies must connect to the Tax Agency's electronic headquarters and send their billing records in accordance with the AEAT's technical specifications.

The new system will require a great deal of effort in managing the information on invoices sent and received by companies, but thanks to our accounting application Conta-Line, this can now be solved.
