Final Balearic Circuit World Amateur Golf Championship: WAGC 2020 by SOFT LINE

Exciting Finale of the Balearic Circuit of the WAGC Amateur Golf World Championship by SOFT LINE 2020 at Golf de Andratx.

The tournament began at 8:30 a.m. with the tee-off at hole 1 for the first category players, followed by the 94 players distributed across 5 different playing categories.

The Golf Club of Andratx and the Tournament Organization provided two refreshment points for participants during the course, with a personalized halfway point at hole 9 for all players.

At the end of this thrilling day of golf competition, the winners of the five categories were:

Gian Paolo Lanzara in the first category, Alex Colet Palmer in the second, Juan de la Rosa Delgado in the third, Sebastián Llaneras Bordoy in the fourth, and Juan Miguel Moll Sureda in the fifth category, all crowned Amateur Champions of the Balearic WAGC Circuit 2020 by SOFT LINE.

The five Balearic Final champions will travel to La Manga Club Resort (Murcia) in September 2021, representing the Balearic Islands in the National Final.

The Final will take place on September 3, 4, and 5 of next year, because due to the global situation caused by COVID-19, the Organizing Committee decided to postpone the 2020 National and World Finals to 2021, allowing both the 2020 and 2021 finals to be held in a single event, provided the situation allows it.

The 5 Balearic players from 2020 will team up with the five winners of the following year, each competing within their category to reach the top of the National Final rankings and earn the chance to travel to Mexico 2021 (Cancún).

After the trophy ceremony for the winners, a virtual raffle was conducted using software courtesy of SOFT LINE, distributing 48 prizes among all players, provided by the circuit collaborators: Trablisa, Lafiore, Codorniu-Raventos, Embotis Sa Caldera, Alegría Fashion Store, Golf Andratx, Golf Alcanada, Golf Son Termes, Golf Park Puntiró, Golf Son Gual, Golf Son Servera, Golf Pollensa, Golf Maioris, etc. The raffle can be viewed on the Organization’s website: https://www.softline.golf/sorteo-golf-final-wagc-2020
