Sign your invoices !!
According to Law 59/2003 on electronic signatures in Spain, an electronic signature
is a set of data in electronic form, recorded alongside other data
or associated with it, which can be used as a means of
identifying the signer.
The electronic signature allows the signatory to be identified unequivocally and ensures the integrity of the signed document,
i.e., that the signed document is exactly the same as the
original and has not been altered or tampered with. This allows
the necessary trust to be established for the exchange of messages between the
sender and the recipient.
The electronic signature shall have the same value with respect to data
recorded electronically as a handwritten signature
has with respect to data recorded on paper.
This signature must be made with a Digital Certificate
issued by a Certification Authority, which certifies the
ownership of the same. The operation of the electronic signature
is based on a public key and a private key. Each party has
a pair of keys, one used for encryption and the other for decryption. Each
party keeps one of the keys secret (private key) and makes
the other one available to the public (public key).
The public key is the part that “travels” in electronic transactions
and allows the identity of a citizen to be authenticated. The private key is only
in the possession of the signer and is used to perform the signing process
.
With the latest version of Fact-line, you can now sign invoices generated in PDF format
with a digital certificate. Both from the manual editing of an
invoice and from the automatic invoicing that generates all
invoices in PDF format, signs them, and sends them by email to customers
who have been configured to receive them. An option has also been added to
sign any PDF selected by the customer.
